Did you not post this an hour ago

Really pleased for you OP, I know the fight. Well done. Not that this sort of thing should be allowed to happen in the first place. Flowers

It's a shame you edited your post as to knowing HOW he's been held to account for not paying would surely help others?

zoomiboomie · 13/12/2023 12:22

Wow, thanks.....good to know!

Theemeperorsnewclothes · 20/12/2023 22:00

Sorry, I got carried away with the result and then panicked about posting it. It’s pretty standard that is fighting this fight have been part of abuse, in it’s many forms, it makes you hugely paranoid. Anyway, one for the team. Onwards and upwards. Fire away with any questions you need answered if you are still ‘fighting’

Tacotortoise · 20/12/2023 22:03

I'm not fighting, just curious (so feel free to ignore) but how did you get the figures to establish his actual income? Was evidence of his lifestyle enough?

Tacotortoise · 20/12/2023 22:04

Oh, and congratulations!

Theemeperorsnewclothes · 20/12/2023 22:11

Absolutely not! This is a nonsense from a nonsense organisation. You NEED to ask for a VARIATION. That will fail (they always do) you then need to ask for a Mandatory Reconsideration. That will fail. You then need to fill out an appeal form.

You basically need to know how to play this shit, patriarchal system. And get your MP involved.

Appeal a Child Maintenance Group decision by the DWP: Form SSCS2

Use this form to appeal a decision made by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Child Maintenance Group.

Could the individuals who voted I was being unreasonable please reveal themselves and give their arguments? I really would like to have this open discussion. As the mother of daughters, I feel I need a better perspective. I am being genuine.

This was @Theemeperorsnewclothes post. For those that can’t see it.

I had this exact same thing. We went to a tribunal on 'Lifestyle not consistent with income declared'. There was an accountant on the panel. I won. I paid a forensic accountant to gather evidence of his lifestyle. Haha, 2 years later I married my forensic accountant. He was ordered to pay me about 3 times what he was paying before and based on his own set of accounts he had to back pay me for past year.

Theemeperorsnewclothes · 20/12/2023 22:21

You are amazing for fighting for justice @caringcarer

16% of posters voted that I was unreasonable for finally winning child maintenance for our children, after years of fight and bringing our chidren up on one wage. Can you please elaborate? I am genuinely interested to hear your views.

It’s two people. They could have voted that way to protest they couldn’t see the content.

BadSkiingMum · 21/12/2023 07:12

Well done! After reading hundreds of posts where women talk about unpaid maintenance but feel that nothing can be done, I am so pleased to finally see a positive outcome and some information that might help others.

SwearsBySomething · 21/12/2023 07:44

Fabulous, well done on your determination and strength to keep fighting!

DorotheaDiamond · 21/12/2023 08:15

Don’t stress about it I’ve been know to accidentally click a poll scrolling…could easily be that!

Inthefuckitbucket · 21/12/2023 08:30

Huge congratulations @Theemeperorsnewclothes I’m disgusted that you had to go through all this, but power to you 💪

Maggs73 · 09/03/2024 05:27

This is great news! I am just completing my SSCS2 now and by the sounds of it NPP in similar position. Can I ask did you pay a solicitor for the tribunal or did you do it all yourself? I feel lost!
