To not want dh to hang his old trousers up over my dressing gown

Just that. We've been married 25 years. My dh has only recently started to do this. I hang my dressing gown up on the bathroom door. My dh hangs up old trousers that he's been wearing to do jobs over them by the trousers loops etc. All the time recently. Driving me mad. I tell him to stop. He says he will. And then he does it again. Aibu to be annoyed and want him to stop

You’re not being unreasonable, but I suggest you / he add an extra hook to the back of the bathroom door, then he can hang his trousers on that.

Put a second hook on the door. One each. Those plastic Command hooks are surprisingly strong and long lasting.

I'd be as annoyed as you are. I would be asking him why he's seemingly incapable of respecting a very simple request.

YANBU. Presumably he can understand what you said. He's simply not caring enough to bother. Just drop them on the floor and leave them there.

My own DH was nearly banned from our en-suite after I discovered that the very small towel that I get out fresh every two days to dry my very clean and cleansed face as part of my skin care routine (I suffer badly with acne) was being used by him in the mornings.

What for? To put on the floor/bath mat and stand on to dry his feet and then hair to save getting the mat wet after his shower! Gross. So I was using his foot towel on my face every second night with all of his footy-skin cells on it.

Get your own towel!! Ugh. I don't even want him using the hand towel for that!

Just tell him to bloody well stop OP. I'm sure he's bright enough to come up with his own solution!
