AIBU to excitedly break 4 years of lurking because DH saw an inflatable dinosaur in use tonight?

He'd been telling me about seeing the same reindeer in lights set of decorations in multiple houses on his way home.

So I said "At least they weren't inflatable dinosaurs" and started to tell him the story only for his face to light up telling me oh yes he had seen that too and taken a while to work out what was Christmassy about it.

I would rather swap said teen for a brick phone!

In fact I'd swap them for a brick! Well, until they hit their 20's and swap back! ;)

@Lilyhatesjaz funny! tough decision! But as it's now gone Christmas I guess you can give him the chance to rethink next year?

@DinoDays sorry but I had a good chuckle at the photo. Sorry because I get it will have been frustrating at the time.

the update from here is that I said to DH on Christmas Eve that I wanted to go decoration spotting after lunch on the next day only to be told the dino was already gone! Along with some of the reindeeer.

We'd had some very wild weather so we hope they were just taken inside rather than blown away.

@Lurker2019 Yes Homer showed up but only between about 6 and 7pm then it was turned off for the night! 😂

I take it you mean each night? Not just 1 hour once? That would hardly be worth inflating him for.
