Urgent Conveyancing Email-AIBU to Complain?!

So we are due to complete tomorrow. Husband gets a call from another conveyancer within our solicitors company to advise that they have not asked us to sign the mortgage deed for the new house. Can we go in to sign it today? No as I was at work (NHS) and husband surrounded by boxes. They've asked us to sign tonight and scan and email over tonight. They've advised us this won't impact our completion but I'm starting to panic.

Unfortunately this is just one thing in a whole list of issues.

  1. AIBU to stress about this? Is it really going to be straightforward.

  2. If I'm stressing unnecessarily is this worth adding to the complaint?

I am a conveyancing solicitor.

I honestly don't see the issue. It will take you a couple of minutes and is needed in order to register your mortgage against your house on registration. They have already assured you your completion won't be impacted.

Okay that's great thank you. Sadly we've had 'assurances' from them before that X won't impact y and it's actually been quite an issue, so really appreciate an outside objective view! Thank you!
