Are foot pillows a gimmick for kids on the plane?

Aibu to get these?? I've read about the hammock type foot rest you tether to the chair in front; surely that would annoy the person in the chair infront of my children?

You need to check what the airline(s) you are flying with permit. The airlines all have different guidance as to what they will accept - and it's still dependent on the cabin crew and your seats on the day.
