Diagnosed with PA 6 months ago and have had monthly injections but am getting worse not better.

Surely there has to be something more going on?

Im exhausted every single day despite sleeping most of it, have lost my job and if I do any walking at all will ache for hours / days after.

Muscle aches / joint pain / nerve pain / muscle twitches constantly 😢

Do you know what your B12 level is now?
When i was diagnosed with v low B12 i was also offered a brain scan to check for multiple sclerosis lesions, as the symptoms are very similar - have this been suggested to you? My GP said 'just because you have one problem, doesn't mean you can't have another' - and you should be seeing an improvement from the jabs, yes

TheBlahWitchProject · 02/12/2023 17:39

You should be having the B12 3 monthly not 6 monthly x

Allthatglittersisntart · 02/12/2023 17:39

If you feel something is wrong with your body keep going back to GP/do your own private tests(cheaper and good in places like baltics).

WorriedMillie · 02/12/2023 17:40

You should be seeing a difference, yes. That said, I am in a group on Facebook where people get jabbed/self inject far more frequently than that.
Did you have the loading dose initially?

TheBlahWitchProject · 02/12/2023 17:40

Sorry…I just saw 6 months and thought they were only jabbing you every 6 months 🙈

Stuckinarut123 · 02/12/2023 19:39
