Morrisons or m and s...or Costco if you are a member or know someone that is

Costco is your friend for these situations, affordable, good quality food and there are loads of fresh-made options perfect for parties. If you don't have a membership or know someone who does, look at the site to see if you qualify, you can sign up at the desk as you walk in and shop right away.

Even aside from party platters, the fresh section up the back has loads of hearty meals you can tub up and freeze for emergencies. My DP is a fussy bastard with ready meals because he's a chef but even he can't fault their cottage pie and beef stew for the price.

Subway used to do platters.

Order some pizzas and sides from Dominos? Or use Uber Eats/Just Eat/Deliveroo and get stuff in?

HippeePrincess · 01/12/2023 14:44

They’re so overpriced just grab a load of items (more packets of less things rather than lots of different things) and chuck on a board/platter whatever at home.

Cornettoninja · 01/12/2023 14:45

yup, I’d be on the delivery apps right now.

There are a few supermarkets on them and you’re well timed to get all the party food bits they have this time of year for Christmas.
