Help, anyone been to Cambridge theatre?

Hi! Looking to book tickets for a show at the Cambridge theatre in London (Matilda the musical) im willing to pay more for good seats as we don’t live near London so this is an unusual event to go to the west end! There’s tickets available in the stalls on the front row (A) - has anyone ever sat here before and was it good? Or are there better places to sit? I’ve tried looking at the websites with photos of the view from each seats and some photos seem to show the front row seats aren’t they best because the stage is high up and you have to stretch your neck up, but other photos the stage seems to be lower. Does anyone know, is this a good seat? Or somewhere else better?

TYSM in advance!!

I imagine row a might be a restricted view as right at the front?

we were about row G or H which was perfect but probably among the most expensive seats

it’s a fantastic show

I'd sit a bit further back. The stage is quite high.

You want to be central and around row E/F/G or thereabouts for the best seats.

I'd aim for middle stalls or first circle if you can. We saw it from the top circle seats and it's a great staging but we couldn't see the very very front of the stage.

It's a fantastic show, even my DH who doesn't really do musicals enjoyed it. DD who is 10 knows every word and was absolutely buzzing that we got to see it.

We went earlier this year, right in front row A in the stalls and the view was fantastic. Would recommend it! There is a site called aviewfrommyseat and you can see photos from different seats too which is what made me choose front row. Matilda is ace and the child actors are incredible

Anywhere in the stalls is good tbh as the theatre is quite small. Row A might give you a bit of neck ache though and being further back would be better for certain parts of the show. We sat about 3 rows from the back of the stalls snd the view was great.

Went recently and was 2nd row from back in stalls and everything was fine! Theatre is quite small. May be better places to sit further forward but was impressed in a way.
The website other people have suggested is very handy
