I don’t know why this bothers me so much but it grates me so much. He’s a lovely guy, but I’m starting to get seriously irritated.
Today I arranged an internal team meeting regarding a client account - agreed for 9am. Boss calls me - tells me he can’t join until 9.15 as he’s got to Argos for his wife, he then joins from the car at 9.30 but signal so bad he only manages to realistically attend the last 5 minutes.
Then we have two client meetings - one he is going from the Mercedes garage and the other from a lay-by.
This sort of stuff happens constantly- client calls in car - annoyingly dipping in & out of service. Random stuff he has to do - collecting things, delivering things etc.
I shouldn’t care I get paid well and he’s very friendly but it grates me so much. I feel like remote working has become an excuse for working whilst running errands.
