Want to quit my job….

It’s a temping job. I haven’t been treated very well. Instead of supporting me they making me feel I’m making a fuss. I feel embarrassed thinking I’m coming across as a drama queen! What to do? Suck it up for another 3/4 weeks as intended or just give my one week notice period now and be free quicker? I’ll get another job easily that’s not the issue

A fuss about what?

If you don’t like it and can easily get another role, just leave.

Can the agency not replace you ?

I had a temp job that I hated. I lasted two weeks out of eight.

It's not like you are holding out for a permanent job there. You really won't be losing anything especially if you can get another job easily.

If you’re only temping there for a few weeks anyway and you’ll get another job easily, just leave if it’s making you miserable.

I think a lot of companies do treat temps fairly badly though.

Speak to your temp agency for advice and let them know what is happening there and that you want a new assignment soon.

If it is only 3 more weeks though I would just get on with it, take the money and simply ignore their pettiness..

I'd work the three weeks and then pack up early for Christmas. Keep that thought in your head.

Then start afresh in January.

Sorry posted too soon! It’s a supply teaching job. I was supposed to stay till October but they talked me into staying till December. I only need to give one week notice if that. It’s awful I hate it.
