To really like the Tesco Christmas advert

I love it too!

It is the dad’s manic laugh at the end that gets me.

Also got the tune on the brain now.

I love it too. Brought a wee tear to my eye. It's the only one I've seen this year.

I do have an issue with them using that music though.

It is a SUMMER song. In my defence, my issue with the song is that it became a bit of an anthem for my friendship group when I was in 6th form, so while it is nice to hear it occasionally and bring back memories, I don't want to hear it every set of adverts for the next month. Obviously Tesco and their advertising team were not aware of this - but I am still not happy with them.

I have teens so this was a timely ad for me.

I think most of the songs they use for Xmas ads are strange choices and not very festive nowadays.

But I think the Tesco ad is my favourite this year.

How Bizarre ! I remember that song when I was at secondary school. Must have been mid 90s? Takes me back ! Haven’t heard that song in years..

Is this the one where they are sprouting stuff 😖? I feel really icky and itchy about unnatural stuff growing out of peoples skin.

It's a good ad, very realistic from a teen point of view.
