Do you ever feel weak and almost light headed, on your period?

I have low ferritin, but not anaemia. But on the heaviest days of period I get sort of light headed, almost like I've had a few glasses of wine without drinking! I have passed out from period pain in the past, but this is different - it doesn't hurt, I'm just woozy.

I get extremely tired in the run up as well.

Does your period ever make you feel like this?

That sounds awful! What did your gp say, were they concerned for you?

Yes, I feel quite wiped out for 2 to 3 days.

All my limbs feel just a bit too light and floaty, which is making me slightly unsteady Confused

They think it’s endometriosis I’m waiting for surgery. They prescribed an iron medication and strong painkillers as I do get pain as well but said I have to just wait for my operation And it’s really affecting my life I can’t get up some days

I am utterly exhausted and emotional a few days before and then have bad cramps for the first 2/3 days.

I used to be like this. I got the coil fitted so i haven't had a period for over 2 years. It's changed my life.
