Am I too fat for an Oodie?

I’m a size 22. I want an Oodie (or at least an M&S equivalent) for Christmas.

Does anyone my size have one? Does the one size fits all fit you?

Thanks.

I don’t have one but I like the extra large men ones at Primark, very soft and large. I bought DH a zipped one.

IAmAnIdiot123 · 25/11/2023 12:34

I used to be a size 26 and tried on a large at primark, fit fine and baggy.

TinyTyrantsSnackb1tch · 25/11/2023 12:35

I bought my daughters partner one from Primark (men's large/xl one) she's a size 24 and it aas still nice and comfy on her (they both fit in it, my daughter is about a 14-16, we tested the theory of now many can you fit in my putting our 20 month old in too 🤣). The primark ones are fantastic and a massive selection to choose from, have you got a primark nearby?

Octavia64 · 25/11/2023 12:35

I'm an 18. Love mine.

My DD I think is about your size and she also loves hers.

They are for comfort - no-one looks smart or fashionable in one!

Halifaxnights · 25/11/2023 12:42

I was an 18 and my oodie was lovely and baggy. I’ve lost a lot of weight since and I’m hoping it will still work its magic!

VoiceOfCommonSense · 25/11/2023 13:15

You could always sew 2 together?

ForeverYellow · 25/11/2023 13:16

Believe me , it will still be baggy on you .

cardibach · 25/11/2023 13:19

I was a 22 when I bought mine. Perfect. As is the fake one I got from eBay. My daughter is a 10. Also perfect on her. I tell you, they are magic.
the real ones are warmer than the fakes, 8n my experience. The sale at the mo is fantastic for real ones.

mrsbyers · 25/11/2023 13:23

No it’ll still be baggy - and lovely and cosy , I wish mine was a bit longer as I’m 5’10 but very loose

You can get long ones from other shops. My one from Debenhams is ankle length on me.

Terfosaurus · 25/11/2023 13:28

I'm a 20/22. I've got a primark one. I think it's a m/L because that's the biggest they had. It's huge.

Feliciacat · 25/11/2023 13:31

I only have an official Oodie so I am not sure how the equivalents compare in size. I’m a 16-18 and I could probably fit two thirds of another person inside the Oodie with me. I think what helps is that they are unisex, so they run very large if you’re a woman. I think you will be fine; you’ll love it!

MassageForLife · 25/11/2023 13:31

I was a size 20 when I bought mine and it has loads of room. You'll be fine. (Genuine oodie)

Oblomov23 · 25/11/2023 13:37

Practically No one is too fat for an oodie surely?

Natty83 · 25/11/2023 13:40

I'm an 18 and 39 weeks pregnant. Still loads of room in mine.

usethedata · 25/11/2023 13:50

Size 22 here. Genuine Oodie and my 4 year old climbs in it with me

Lannielou · 25/11/2023 13:52

mommatoone · 25/11/2023 13:57

MyDogSmellsTerrible · 25/11/2023 14:25

My sister is a 24 ish. The Oodie & Kuddli fit. The Sienna brand which is a cheap one is a bit too snug.

skyeisthelimit · 25/11/2023 15:01

I am larger than you and I bought a purple Friends Oodie and it fits me fine and is still baggy.

Chanhedforthis · 25/11/2023 15:05

You could always sew 2 together?

Ignore this comment op.

Im a size 22, 27 weeks pregnant and mine fits fine.

LongTallSuzie · 25/11/2023 15:07

I'm 5ft 10 and a size 24. I've got a genuine oodie that fits lovely on me. Lots of room and long enough to cover my bum and tops of legs.

StaunchMomma · 25/11/2023 15:08

Honestly, they're feckin' MASSIVE!!
