The starling children's bank card. Does anyone have kids that use it?

Any tips? Anything in general. I'm a bit anxious about my kids having their own bank card. Thank you.

HyperJar is my favourite. Ultimately (with pretty much all of these banks) I have complete control over daily spending limits and can block the card from my phone. My kids have had them since age 6 and never had a problem.

Yes, we're almost a year into having it and it works really well. We put pocket money on it and get a notification when DC makes a purchase with it.

No problems with it here - you can see exactly what they've spent where, you can limit how much in a day and how much per single transaction, you can add and take away money through out a day. And it's free now.

We have HyperJar. It's free, and I can see what they spend.

Can you withdraw cash from a starling card I like HyperJar but feel he now needs a card to withdraw money at cash machine

Yes.
And you can also make it so they can't use it at a cash machine.

I'll have a look at hyperjar. I hadn't heard of that. Thank you. Any tips on how what freedom your child is allowed re purchasing?

My DD has go Henry and there's loads of settings for cash machine, online etc and you can see exactly where they are spending and set limits etc ...

Yes, just closed their go Henry Account and opened starling as its free. I bank with them already and would highly recommend. You can set spending limits and see exactly what they have spent. Also set up a regular payment from your account if they have pocket money.
