Vinted - New Seller No Contact or Reviews

I’m selling a Mulberry item (an item which had the photos pinched for a fake sale in the summer, fwiw) and the seller hasn’t been in touch or responded to my message - they just purchased it out of the blue (fine, that’s generally what happens, although I have received a fair load of questions on prior items)

They have no reviews. I understand that they could be new to Vinted, it’s just a spider sense that it isn’t necessarily legit. I have sold about 5 items on Vinted so I’m not an old hand or anything, but have sold lots over the (many!) years on different platforms (and have been stung as both buyer and seller..)

Is it unreasonable to cancel the sale?

Thanks all.

If you don't want to sell it to this buyer then just don't post it. The sale will then cancel. You'll get automatic bad feedback but if you are ok with that then go for it.

I mean if they’ve paid for it, just send it. That’s the whole point?

I've cancelled sales I didn't feel comfortable with, about 3 of them. You get automatic negative feedback but that's it.

Thanks all. I wanted to sense check to see if I was being too cynical. Going to cancel as Vinted is terrible with issues in my experience

If its under £300 there is a great Facebook Group (Mulberry Handbag Retreat under £300 Mulberry), over that amount you need Just Mulberry UK on Facebook.
I wouldn't buy or sell Mulberry via Vinted.
