Wwyd very important hospital appointment and I've come down with a cold

I have been waiting months for a life changing hospital appointment to talk about next steps. I have woken up this morning with a cold. If I miss it, then I'm going to have to wait god knows how many months until I'm seen. I've tested negative for Covid. Wwwyd. Please be kind, I'm fragile enough with my health issues. Thank you 🙏🫶

Definitely go!! Pre-covid I bet you wouldn’t even have thought about not going!! You have done the right thing in testing imo, but you are negative. Wash your hands, wear a mask and go go go!!

I had a physio appointment i had to wait months for and got a nasty cough just prior to it, tested negative and masked up. He was grateful that i masked up as the amount who went in sick to the gills and coughed all over him.

Presumably you won't be doing the rounds of seriously vulnerable patients, mask up and go!

It's just a cold. I would carry on as normal without a second thought.

I'd just go to the appointment. I might consider wearing a mask, although I don't think they are compulsory in medical settings anymore (our doctors surgery says just wear one if you have a respiratory infection).

For the record I had covid last week and wasn’t very well. GP wanted to see me in person, irrespective of covid and I was just told to wear a mask.
