I've had IBS for years.

But I don't know if that's what's going on right now.

Would really appreciate some feedback (plus company whilst stuck in the loo yet again)

For the last few days I've been in so much pain.

Have my period which has been quite a bit worse than usual so not sure if it's related.

But each evening and morning had really painful loose stools/IBS. And the hip/back ache stays all day.

I start each morning in agony with the trots. Swear that I won't be able to eat a thing all day and best I don't.

Then once I'm up and about and at work it lessens enough (other than achey back and hip muscles) for me to have a pretty normal day etc) and today was even ok to have dinner and get ready for bed fine.

But now back in agony and on the loo and needing to take a hot water bottle back to bed and hoping I don't need to creep back out of bed again.

Probably just IBS but never had it recurring like this. And such sharp pain.

That sounds awful. Why not make a GP appointment to discuss it?

Ask to be tested for h pylori.

I am in the same boat as you, its terrible. I am currently under investigation, colonoscopy was normal though. Coedine can help with the Diarrhoea/pain but Dr's sometimes won't prescribe it due to it being addictive. Speak to your GP about trying amitriptyline and get stool samples to check for raised calprotectin, infection etc.
