To say no to a viewing the night before?

Landlord emailed yesterday (8/11) to say there will be a viewing tomorrow morning (10/11).

Since last night, I’ve had a fever and have been unable to get out of bed etc. suspect I have covid/ flu.

Am I within my rights to refuse a viewing for 10am tomorrow now?

context: the people viewing my place tomorrow are people that I know of from work and I really do not feel well enough to clean my place which is absolutely horrendous atm

It's pretty short notice to refuse, you should have let them know earlier in the day. But if you're ill, you're ill so no choice really.

Just text back and say you are unwell with a contagious fever, possibly Covid and you sre not able to accommodate a viewing

You're always within your rights to refuse a viewing. You don't need to have an excuse. You don't have to allow any viewings at all.

Thanks

I emailed back at 7pm to say I’m unwell and if they could please reschedule

just sent another one to ask them to confirm they won’t be entering and apologised for the short notice
