£7.35 for a signed for/documents service for medical reasons. I know my license has to be returned and I'm voluntarily surrendering it (some people just wait till the DVLA get hold of their updates from GP or hospital and are forced to do so. Some people of course, don't give a shit, they just want to keep driving, they don't give a shit basically.
But you try and do do the right thing and they charge you over seven fucking pounds. Oh and a one way hospital trip basic A and E trip is £18. Fucking brilliant.
But hey at least (other shit as well we epilepsy) we get PIP! Lots of people think we get a free car but it isnt actually isn't fucking free at all, you "lose" your enhanced benefit as it pays for it. And l£71 doesn't get a lot of public transport, or Taxi's!
And I don't even get a chance to fucking use it now anyway. In that space of 20 minutes, I've just lost so much fucking independence, so much of my own life, driving, swimming, giving the kids lifts when I can, fuck all the damn tests that nownhave to be done, fuck seeing terror in my DH' eyes again; fuck no more fucking baths, fuck the "what if had been driving"'nightmares; fuck the broken bones etc - that £7 has fucking finished me off quite frankly
I just want a rant really, I don't want to hear anyone try and be helpful and say or it could've cost £2 if xxx or you never know my SIL got it back in xxx etc. if anyone just wants to say "yep its shit" and offer a sympathetic pats on the back, careful please, above the broken or cracked ribs; that would be great thank you
