my sons are only interested in their phones or the Xbox. If I buy them regular presents, they go untouched.
I have a very small budget of about £100 each(I have 2 other DC) this year and I’m at a loss of what to get them. They’re asking for electric bikes which I simply can’t afford. I feel like I’m letting them down so much, as I know their dad will be able to get them much better gifts than I can.
any ideas will be very welcome. Thankyou

Lego.
I always suggest Lego 😂
If they don't like it you can send it to me....
Seriously....what did they like before they had their tech? Sports? Creative stuff (like Lego)? Certain films? Books?
What Xbox games do they like? Is there merch (like clothing) that goes with it?

Locallady2 · 08/11/2023 11:39

T shirts/lunchboxes/stationary stuff with gaming things on them. For example if they're into minecraft you could get minecraft pyjamas or something. You can also get minecraft lego if they're into lego.

@Prefend also surely electric bikes aren't road legal so that's a perfect excuse not to buy them.

No kid needs an electric bike. If they need bikes, you can find decent used ones. We never bought new.

Last year I got mine PJs m, chocolates and a t shirt then vouchers for different places they like e.g. cinema, escape room, Nintendo store.

I’ve got my son an arcade game that projects onto the wall and plays things to shoot at - it’s got good reviews and I must admit, I’m looking forward to playing it myself. It’s called Projex and you can get it from smyths toys.

@Onionbhajisandwich we have this and it’s really good, we also have a laser tag type thing as well which is also good.

last year we asked for vouchers for either bowling or cinema from aunties and uncles which were really popular and got us a few days out during the year as well.
