Do many people in their 20’s smoke or vape?

If you are in your 20’s or you know anyone in their 20’s can I ask whether they smoke cigarettes or vape? My DS is 23 and has never smoked or vaped before.

Also if they do smoke how often do they do it? Is it more on social occasions or is it a daily occurrence?

Anyone else?

Loads of my kids’ friends smoke/vape. Slightly more vapers than smokers. My kids are teenagers. Still in high school. They seem to do it quite regularly, rather than just socially. I predict a huuuuge increase in young nicotine addicts. Vaping delivers (afaik) a higher concentration of nicotine and therefore results in the user becoming addicted more quickly. Secondly, you don’t ‘finish’ a vape. It’s not like a ciggy, where you get to the end of it. Vaping seems to be endless.

Plenty of my dcs acquaintances smoke/vape, they are not close friends though. Both dc very anti smoking

Most of the teens and early 20s around here smoke or vape. Most of their parents are unaware.

Seems to be all the rage for 11 year olds + The young teens who vape do this thing where you do lots of quick puffs and it makes you headlight / gives you a high feeling. Out of 26 in my child’s form class (13yrs) about 20 vape. Utter ticking time bomb from a public health perspective.

I think vaping is alot more popular with the younger generation now than smoking is

Most of the under 30s I know, vape. The overs smoke.
