Alluding to swearing in radio advert, am I just old?

I’ve swapped to a new radio station which has adverts. One of the adverts tells me to ‘uck off if I don’t like it’. The F from fuck is bleeped out in a lazy manner making it very obvious. Is it cheap and trashy or am I old fashioned?

Tory politicians (bastions of decency and family values) talk like this in public regularly. It must be the new normal.

You can just switch it off.

But you only know you need to do that after you're listening with your five year old and it comes on.

I'm so prudish it annoys me there's an advert that uses the phrase "taking a leak". I realised this makes me sound like a 19th century grandmother, but it's so vulgar 😝

I’m also sick of not being able to play Spotify when the children are in the car as the songs I like aren’t edited for radio. When did swearing become so common place

Not just me then. Thank goodness for that. Yep I would be upset if my little ones said “uck off”.
