Student finance England, another UK shambles

My daughter has been at university for a month now and still is waiting for her student finance!! Has anyone else had this situation? They don't even answer the phone!!

Some time ago now but the only time I had a delay was when I didn't get all the right details. Once it was sorted everything went smoothly.

Has she maybe missed something off?

Do you mean the tuition loan or maintenance loan?
If its maintenance then ds got part of his within a week after starting. Its not full annual amount, just for this term, his doesn't even cover accommodation costs!

Both parts of loan. University have been helpful in delaying payments for accommodation and fees

Well that's a bit crap, sorry I can't understand that as it can't be local its central isn't it, so not sure why some would be delayed.
I assume ds's tuition fees have been paid but he definitely has had his 1st term maintenance loan paid.
He did say he thought Uni have to confirm his place before payment is made, might be worth trying the Uni first to see if they know anything

Anyone had any problems logging into Student Finance Uk this weekend? It’s says “sorry there is an issue with our service. Try again later”. I can’t help thinking that it’s a problem our end because I can’t find any references to the website being down anywhere else. Thanks.
