Help! Tried fake tan for the first time and it's horrible!

It looks bloody awful and patchy on my face, any tips to help remove it before work? I have 5 hours!!

Baby oil, put it on and leave for 5 minutes then remove.

Lemon, Moisturiser, baby oil and scrub. Did you exfoliate before applying the tan?
