AIBU to invest in a Dyson Airwrap, and discard my BBH??!

Just that really!
I do like the Babyliss big hair but worried that it’s pulling my hair out.
Is the air wrap better in that regard? Is it worth the money?
Interested in opinions!
Thanks so much! 😀

The BBH does pull a huge amount of hair , as does the revlon

Airwrap is much better

Have got both. The Airwrap is amazing. Not had a single split end in years and it doesn't pull your hair.

The airwrap is the best thing I own!

I've had it for over 2 years now and still am regularly asked where I go for my blow dries (I use it to curl my hair) and get compliments.

What I love is it looks like you have spent ages doing your hair, but as it dries and styles at the same time, it's actually quicker and a lot less effort.

Expensive but sooo worth it!

I have both the BBH and Revlon One Step, neither pull my hair out?

HoHoHoliday · 24/10/2023 22:59

I have not tried the BBH so cannot compare them, but I tried the air wrap and it did nothing for me, I couldn't get on with it at all. I persevered for a few weeks, even took it to my hair dresser for a hands on tutorial in case I was doing it wrong. Ended up returning it for a refund.

I have the Dyson hairdryer, I'd love an Airwrap.

Thank you! Really appreciate the replies.

is there any benefit from buying it from Dyson website direct or getting it from say Boots to get the advantage points?

My dd just made my big the Dyson Airwrap. I have to say I wasn't enthusiastic bearing in mind the price. But the curls are incredible and stay in your hair.

HoHoHoliday · 24/10/2023 23:16

The benefit of buying direct from Dyson is that if like me you don't like it much, you can return for a full refund even after using it. With boots or elsewhere, I doubt you can do that.

Have to add that I bought the new smoothing tool attachment for the airwrap and don't get on with that at all. The hairdryer and then curling barrels are my favourites. Not sure I'm using the two brish attachments properly and keep thinking I should watch Dyson's videos.
