Bit anxious about managing this on my own with dc. Been a mild tempered baby so far. I’m already exhausted and stressed and not sure how to cope if these become full blown.

My son started very early! Massive tantrums at 13 months! I have yet to see what he will be like at 2-3 but so far we find that it got better around 20 months when his language improved very quickly and he could tell us what he wanted.
It is getting better and better as his understanding improves too, as he can understand consequences and choices.

Also, try to find the underlying reason. In our case it is tiredness 99% of the time, so he will ask for bed and we let him even if it's not nap time. And if we go to the playground close to lunchtime we will plan a snack he likes to avoid the "pushchair tantrum" when we need to leave.
