To expect DS8 to attempt to wash his own hair

DS8 has always hated the bubbles that soap makes. Can't stand bubble bath. He will wash his face and body with bar soap but when it comes to shampoo, he'll let me do it but can't bear doing it with his own hands.

He's pretty independent in other ways.

Would he use a shampoo bar instead? They don't lather up that much.

I'd want to know why he hates the bubbles a bit more. Is really unusual and not the standard issues with soap- stinging eyes etc.

Sounds sensory.

Laughing to myself at how I've just posted about it but he's just had a shower and done it!

Not as much lather as I do but he pumped it into his hands and rubbed well into his hair.

You can get "low-poo" or "no-poo" shampoos that don't lather but do clean. Why not try those?
