To believe in sods law?

First time abroad in 8 years.

Arrived in Denmark today, 7 year old decides to wait until the pharmacies are shut to mention his foreskin is a little red and sore. He is never ill in any way. It’s obviously Sod’s Law it’s happened now.

I only have savlon with me, but guessing I need an antifungal cream. Tried 2 supermarkets but they don’t have anything. Pharmacies won’t open until Monday now.

Yup just typical sods law. What a shame for him. In meantime if you can get him to wash his foreskin and under it with salt water it can soothe itching. Make sure he dries it properly. Also if you think its a fungal infection you can apply live natural yogurt until you can buy antifungall cream. Is this a reoccuring issue - if so he maybe needs checked in case his foreskin is too tight...happened to one of my DSs and he had to get circumcised to prevent it. Hope this helps and you can all enjoy your weekend.

Ahhhh live yoghurt, you’re a genius! He’s probably had it twice before, once when he was a toddler. Might be worth checking with the gp when we’re home.
