Photos of ex boyfriend

DH and I are packing up to move house and I had a box of ‘sentimental items’, lots of old photos and cards. There were a few pictures of me and my ex together (relationship in our 20’s, ended over 10 years ago), and my DH thinks it’s really strange that I have kept photos and cards from him. To me it’s no different than keeping photos of friends (of which there were loads in the same box) but it makes him quite uncomfortable. AIBU to think it’s no big deal?

I have photos of me with my ex. He was a part of my life for many years. I'm not going to go through and delete the past. Sometimes they come up in my memories on different apps and it's nostalgic. No different to keeping photos with friends. I think your current partner needs to stop projecting his insecurities

I have a couple of photos of an ex. I've not kept any cards from him but I have kept a beautiful picture he drew of me.

I have absolutely no feelings towards him and have no contact with him (and haven't for about 17 years)

I don't think it's odd, as long as its not a full on shrine amount of stuff.

I think it would be weird to not have those . I always wonder about those people who wipe their pasts clean, delete instagram photos etc. it’s your past, it’s ok to keep photos.
