To ask if you exercise / use gym on holiday?

I'm thinking about taking some running gear and using the gym whilst on holiday but it's not something I've done before.

Can I ask if many of you do the same on holiday?

If so, how do you fit it into your day - up early and go before family are up and about or take a bit of time for yourself during the day?

Yes! Stayed at a holiday park that had free use if gym and pool and just pay £5 for gym induction! I went early morning 3 of the 7 days! It was fab!!

I always take my trainers and something to work out in , and I would do workouts in my room or outside weather permitting. If it's part of your routine, you might feel a bit low if you don't. Some people see it as work but I see it as normal as brushing my teeth.

I run and take resistance bands as we don’t tend to holiday places where there’s a gym available.

I usually do it early before it gets too hot

I always take my gym stuff and use it as me time usually late afternoon before showering for dinner

I like to go for an early morning walk before anyone else gets up when on holiday.

Does that count?

Yes, I always use the hotel gym when on holiday. Or the gym on the ship if on a cruise. I tend to go late afternoon, after a day out and before getting ready for dinner.
My kids are older though, so I don’t have to factor them in. If they are on holiday with us, they go to gym too.
