. . . here rather than in the designated area?

Not creepy in the Jimmy Savile sense but more in the style of the haunting of hill house. Apple, Netflix, Prime or Disney+. Thanks in advance.

Chapelwaite. Prequel to Salems Lot but set around 200 years before. Starring the incredible Adrian Brody and some of the best TV ive seen in years.
The original Penny Dreadfull series.
Midnight mass on Netflix.

CoffeeCantata · 18/10/2023 18:22

Not a TV show...but Danny Robins's podcast from last year, The Witch Farm, will frighten the living.....out of you. It's available on BBC Sounds.

dankfarrik · 18/10/2023 18:25

Archive 81 on Netflix was good.

category12 · 18/10/2023 18:31

Quite enjoyed the Fall of the House of Usher (Netflix, another Mike Flanagan series )

surreygirl1987 · 18/10/2023 19:00

I'm watching Dear Child right now and am finding that creepy.

OrigamiOwl · 18/10/2023 19:00

I'm obsessed with The Fall of the House of Usher at the moment

ZaphodBeeblebroxArthurDent · 18/10/2023 19:01

Ok, showing my age here, but 'Children of the Stones'... that totally freaked me out when I was a child (the more so because we had to go to Avebury on a school trip shortly afterwards, and I was a nervous wreck!!).

Disclaimer: I am 'old'... only people of my generation will have the faintest idea what show I'm talking about! (I found it to rewatch on youtube during Covid, just to show my own DC what tv was like for children like me back in the day!!)

QueefofSheena · 18/10/2023 20:03

@ZaphodBeeblebroxArthurDent I loved Children of the Stones! I showed DS some public information films recently, like Dark and Lonely Water. That used to creep me out as a child

bellamountain · 18/10/2023 20:11

American Horror Story.

I’ve watched 2 episodes thus far. It’s very creepy.

AllWeWantToDo · 18/11/2023 13:25

Ghost watch was so creepy , really freaked me out when it was shown.

Hobbes8 · 18/11/2023 13:26

The live Halloween episode of inside no 9 scared the shit out of me. Then I watched it again the following Halloween, thinking I’d be fine because I knew what was coming, and it scared the shit out of me again.

Seaglass7 · 18/11/2023 13:30

Loved Hannibal on Netflix!
