Just that really- I am 50, keep trying HRT (specifically oestrogel/ utrogestan) but it wreaks havoc as I gave fybrocystic distress in one breast- so thickening, cysts etc. The HRT makes it way worse and normally I can track what’s happening to my cycle but constantly taking oestrogen means the cysts are way worse - painful, very swollen and it’s hugely anxiety provoking when you can feel lumps in your breast.
I have stopped the HRT again for this reason as it was making it all loads worse. Lumps have now settled again but they are far worse on HRT. Problem is that I have loads of them but my meno symptoms are really bad too.
Anyone got any experiences of this? Would patch HRT be better?
