To expect Property Management company to act with a little more urgency

My flat sale has been a long drawn out and ridiculously expensive and stressful process. I accepted an offer in November and my mortgage switched to variable in January ( I thought it would only be a couple of months, cheaper than paying the penalty. How wrong I was!)

Anyway, due to a missing lease plan and other complications, a deed of variation has been drawn up. I've signed it, the landowner's management company have signed it but it has been with Property Management Company since 6th September. Nearly six weeks! My sale has been held up for 6 weeks by this one guy! The solicitor has phoned and emailed. I've phoned and emailed. He's sent back the odd email but now nothing.

Do I ask for his supervisor to intervene or log a formal complaint or will this go wrong for me? Will that create I'll will? I need to escalate it somehow to get things moving. Im out £1000. a month which I haven't got for ab empty flat. This expenditure is having zero impact on my mortgage total either! So am I bring unreasonable to think 6 weeks is an unreasonable time frame for a signature?
Seriously desperate. Thanks in advance for any wisdom.

My advice is to arrange an in person meeting (even if you are super far away) hopefully the treat of it will be enough. Also try just inviting them to a teams meeting and putting one in. I would definitely try escalating. Property managers are notoriously shite (high workload, high staff turnover, low income per property) so if you want them to do anything you need to be the loudest.
