To ask if you had an eye twitch during pregnancy

I have had an eye twitch for two weeks now, wondering if it could be related to early pregnancy? Please share your experiences.

Yes! I had it around 15 weeks for a few days, I think it was just complete exhaustion, for me anyway.

Worth saying if I am pregnancy it’s 5-6 weeks (currently on holiday somewhere remote, need to do a test when I get home!). Lots of other signs too, not just this, but this seems the oddest.

It's usually down to lack of sleep.

Yes! I had this with both of mine. My least favourite pregnancy symptom after gagging on my own overproduction of saliva 🤗

Yes but it’s my common ‘not enough sleep symptom so was vaguely inevitable!

Yes I had it whilst pregnant both times but I also get it if I’m very run down or overtired.

I had this in my first pregnancy but not my second (yet). I also had, around the same time, this dreadful thing called pulsatile tinnitus which was hearing my heartbeat really loudly in my ear all the time, it was torture. It seemed related to the eye twitching. They both happened in the third trimester.

Second pregnancy and I don't have either yet but I've only just started my third trimester.

I've read that staying hydrated and taking vitamin B supplements can both help with eye twitches, can't hurt

Yes, both times. I read it could be potassium levels being low so ate banana bread pretty much daily (sugar free, Jamie Oliver has a good recipe) and that stopped it.
