When a small family get together is not an option. My parents are divorced and not amicably, they can't be in the same room. Ideally I'd like to have just had grandparents, me, DH and a cake but not possible...
Any low key ideas or suggestions for places I could take my son for his birthday with a friend? It's a winter birthday so ideally indoors. We are near Manchester.
We did the whole rent a hall, invite the whole of nursery thing last year and it was hectic and expensive and I just cba this time but don't feel right not doing anything.
