Dp has to provide sharecodes to his employer proving his right to work he does this by going on the government checking service and entering his permit details but the system keeps coming back with a error saying card is lost or stolen which is incorrect.
Have been passed from pillar to post by the homeoffice and its still not sorted have also emailed written and this has all been explained to hid employer and now they've stopped his wages. Do you think they can do this please

His employer will be concerned about the potential £20k fine for employing someone with no right to work. Has he asked his employer to verify him via the Employer Checking service? That can be used as an alternative to the codes.

This is exactly why many of us were saying EUSS is Windrush 2.0
Ther iis a group called 3million who help EU (and families) people. They might be able to support. But yes, employer can't afaik pay. They shouldn't have him working actually

As above.
The employer will be worried that your partner doesn't have the right to work and will be fined.
As @Zippedydoodahday says, there is a different route to verification if the code is temporarily faulty.

They already have his information on record that states his work permission and expiry etc.

Yes he has but they keep leaving it on him to sort.

They already have his information on record that states his work permission and expiry etc.

Then I am confused why they need it again. Has it expired? Or is it that they just haven't seen proof yet?
