We recently paid £2000 for a villa in spain to a UK owner privately , after one day we had a power outage that meant we had no lights , no hot water and most importantly no air con or fans in a 40 deg heat wave, we reported the fault to the owner within the hour , we stayed three more days hoping they would fix it, in the end they said we could have a refund , on that basis we booked in to a hotel at further £2000 expense hoping the refund would cover
they are now refusing to pay us back , just flatly not acknowledging they put in a text twice that they would
We need this money and despite our plea’s they are now ignoring us
So Im going to pursue in County court
I hope that the Court would see we are entitled
