Neighbour got paint on my towels *MNHQ edited 'pain' to 'paint'*

So this community have proved to be very helpful with helping with my anxiety and whether or not I’m in the wrong. So I need another opinion.

I had my washing out the other day and my neighbours started painting their fence, causing a couple of very tiny splatters of paints on my towels, these dried onto the towel. Am I being unreasonable for considering talking to my neighbour about this and asking them to talk to me before painting again? Or should I just leave it.

Also off topic but should I wash the towels again or should they be fine to use now the paint has dried to them? I.e there shouldn’t be any transfer or paint to skin?

Maybe when you next see them just say ‘give me a knock if you’re doing any more painting, it’s just that I had a couple of splashes…’

Our neighbours got fence paint on my car! Luckily DH was going out to grab something from the shop and saw it, it was really fresh so he raced to the car wash. He said something similar to the neighbours when he saw them.

I’m quite cowardly though and suffer badly from anxiety so I wouldn’t say anything for fear of them getting the hump & it creating bad feeling- even though they caused he issue!

If it dry it won’t transfer onto your skin.
