Skibidi toilet - unsuitable for kids?

My DD has come home from school talking about this - apparently they are all watching it in her year group (yr 6). It’s so weird and unsettling! Has anyone else seen this?

I don’t want to link to it because I don’t want it following me around the internet - but it seems to be these odd cartoons where a man’s head is superimposed on a toilet and they fight a group of people with cameras for heads?!?

i texted my SIL and she mentioned she lets my 6 year old nephew watch it because he finds it funny! AIBU to think it’s really unsuitable for small kids? I don’t want DD who is 10 to watch it, let alone anyone younger!

do you let your kids watch this? Am I being a prude? (I certainly don’t ‘get’ it at all….)

I've seen kids watching it, its incredibly stupid but couldn't see anything else wrong with it, apart from crappy graphics?

Yep my 9 year old and his entire class watch it (I believe it's on episode 64 now 🙄) and now I know all the bloody words to that stupid song.

I've watched it with my son and it's absolute nonsense. It won't result in him turning into a delinquent though.

I went on a school trip recently with his class and they were all singing it as we walked through the museum. As we passed another school, they all joined in too! I may have laughed!!

It's just really silly and loud. There's nothing inappropriate there unless you find toilets embarrassing.

It's not inappropriate just annoying, I guess in the same way we had badger badger badger, the duck song, crazy frog etc

haha my 9year old son is also into this skibidi toilet! Must be latest trend for our young ones these days 🤣 as far as I'm aware too, theirs nothing rude or inappropriate about it.

This all makes sense now! DS came home from school terrified of being in a bathroom on his own, saying something about heads in toilets. I’ve just googled now and, to be fair, it would have scared me as a child too. It’s kind of creepy!

It's really aggressive though. They are shooting and blowing each other up. There's a really weird head thing. It's just inappropriate.
My DS is 7 and watched it at his dad's and I've said nope it's inappropriate. He became scared at night because of it

My kids have all been watching it for months now so I feel like I have seen every episode. They sing the stupid song over and over. To me it's a bit creepy looking but nothing more. They think it's hilarious and not creepy at all. Kids today!

Isn’t SKIBIDI a song by Little Big? They are a LA based St Petersburg band who disagree with Putin. They are blooming amazing - assuming it’s their song over some weird cartoon? But to be honest their videos are bonkers! Going to see them live soon!!

Well this has solved a mystery! My DD has been randomly saying ‘skibidi toilet’ recently and I assumed it was just some nonsense she’d made up. Presumably she’s got it from someone at school! I will have to investigate the show now…

The primary school I teach at have put on a newsletter that it's inappropriate for primary school-age kids. I haven't watched it personally but it doesn't sound like something I'd want young children watching.
