Crap Clark’s School Shoes….

Always bought Clark’s yet this year both pairs (two different DC) have already broken. The soles have come away from the actual shoes.

Has anyone else found them rubbish for the price? Any other recommendations?

Clarke's are expensive rubbish, the quality is awful, my son goes through school shoes

Same problem here, always bought Clarks for my DD when she was in primary now I have a 6yr old DS so have been buying him clarks for school since he started in reception but they are terrible this year.

we bought a pair for the start of September and had to take them back within the first term, bought new for starting back at the end of October and they have also fallen apart, the leather is rubbish so we now have to buy another pair of shoes to go back next week.

I think I bought my DD 2 pairs of school shoes a year just because she had outgrown them and here we are on the 3rd pair in pretty much 12 weeks for my DS. Time to try different brands I think, Clark’s are not what they used to be in my experience

My daughter has had two pairs from Clark's and both have been fantastic! Like, practically indestructible! They were both the patent leather ones, so maybe they're a bit more robust? I've found their kids shoes generally to be fantastic, particularly the trainers for toddlers... wash them and they look new, even after two kids!

DMs are much better quality and if your DC aren't too hard on them you can usually sell them on when outgrown. DD2 is still wearing her last pair of school shoes 6 years on.
