People who prefer dogs and kids to other humans-adults

I feel a bit like this…have friends, family etc, but deep down, most adult humans (😂) annoy me a lot of the time and can be confusing and hard work. Kids are so much more straightforward and simple and dogs..well, obviously
Anyone else like this?
My ideal day is probably spent with my dog or my Dd, who’s actually quite interesting with a great sense of humour, despite being only 5

I agree that I think people who very much prefer animals to humans are just communicating the fact that they don't find complex human interaction particularly easy or enjoyable.

There's nothing wrong with that in itself. It's about self awareness.

I do realise though that when for instance a member of the family openly prioritises a pet over a family member, then it can be hurtful to the other person involved who doesn't feel the same way . I still feel that it's important to accept people for who they are, even though we might see things differently .
