Ordered food + booze from deliveroo earlier.

They brought me some rancid looking, charcoal coloured, chocolate-flavoured pancakes instead of the buttermilk pancakes I ordered but hey ho (they will go in bin as kids won't eat what look like charred beer mats).

I also ordered one bottle of their finest provençal rose.

They brought me two.

Come on. Who is raising an online flag (because you can't actually talk to anyone) to flag this up?

I once complained to Deliveroo because half my order was missing. They asked me to send photographic evidence so I sent a picture of an empty plate. They refused to refund.

Like, how can you provide photographic evidence of not receiving something?

If I didn’t have the extra bottle of rose, I would have complained about the pancakes. But otherwise, wouldn’t see the need!

Just Eat refused to refund us for cold food because we didn't have pictures... I did point out that pictures won't prove the food was cold but 🤷‍♀️

If they refuse to give you a refund because of lack of a picture, if you send them an email with the picture of what you did get or the receipt they’ll refund you. I think sometimes they say no to see if they can get you to back off but I’ve found if I challenge it they cave.

If there’s something missing from an order I send a photo of what I did get and have got refunds this way. Unfortunately there’s one supermarket locally that almost always forgets something. It’s embarrassing having to phone the driver to ask him if anything fell out the bag (read: accuse him of nabbing my hobnobs)

You can contact customer service through the order help. Click on "something else" and then you can talk to a customer service agent.
