This is just a bit of mental vomit so I apologise in advance. DD went to an open night last night for the secondary school associated with her primary. They're non religious schools (v rare in these parts). She loved it altogether. Which is all great but they're massively oversubscribed. I so want her to get in but there's no gaurantee. Can the MN collective say a little (ironic) prayer for us?

Don't forget to put something on your form that you will definitely get, so something not over subscribed or very close. Even if you don't like it, it's better than something awful 15 miles away.

Tbh the only one that i have an advantage for getting in to is the one i went to myself, and it was a hellhole. So i'm over a barrell that way.
