To think that the people who moan are rarely those who do anything to change the situation

Street WhatApp: Drug dealer's in town. Do they inform the police? No

School WhatsApp: There's no money for X. Do they join the PTA to try to remedy? No

Local Park Facebook: There's so much rubbish. Do they join the litter collecting team? No

The people that do resolve these things just get on with it and work with the police/school/ park volunteers to make it happen. They don't moan. They just do.

Yep. Some people are moaners.

How is that relevant?

Some things shouldn't need us to remedy. If the government gave the councils enough money then the litter would get picked up. There would be more police on the streets. The schools would have money for resources. Why is it always our fault ?

I'm not sure why fault comes into it.
If stuff needs doing some moan and some look for solutions.
The moaners appear to outweigh the solution seekers.

Of course it is relevant. You are moaning about people who moan and don't do. So, are you a doer, or are you copying the perps you are moaning about?

I thought this was thread about OPs who start a thread about a problem and then don't get back to say what they did and what happened as a consequence. That would be the majority, though I haven't been keeping a spreadsheet
