To ask what to do with 3 weeks of (semi) freedom

Currently pregnant with my first DC and have finished work today to use up the last of my AL before maternity leave.

I'm due in 3 weeks and aside from a list of household jobs (bit of light DIY, cleaning and batch cooking) that will probably take a couple of days, i have no idea how to spend my time - I've never had more than 2 weeks off as an adult since starting FT work.

Any advice on how to spend these last baby-free weeks is highly appreciated!

(Edited to add - I say semi freedom as I am quite large and a bit knackered, so can't exactly do anything hugely adventurous but am still pretty mobile and active overall! Just tend to be a touch slower and in bed by 10 :)

Do the following:

Nothing.

Seriously, this will be the last time you will be able to luxuriate in nothingness for a while. TV, mindless scrolling, cake. Baths during the day (always feels decadent to me!).

Those three weeks before dc1 came along were some of my favourite weeks as an adult!

Thank you! Cinema and theatre are definitely good shouts, as is doing nothing - something I'm absolutely terrible at and hate doing as I feel like I'm wasting time!

This might sound weird, but get yourself some good jigsaw puzzles. I was so impatient by the end of my pregnancy (baby was 2 weeks overdue), and found it really hard to focus on anything. Jigsaw puzzles were the perfect combination of being both mindless and requiring focus.

Although, if I had 3 free weeks right now, I would focus on game development and game playing - just downloaded a new computer game that I am itching to start...

Meet with friends, all the time. Do anything you normally enjoy doing on your our own (reading, walking, shopping, whatever silly thing you have not noticed us so valuable) Then sleep.

You will miss the above for at least 2 decades.
