To think that YouTube is annoying

Lots of times I will put a YouTube video on as white noise when Im trying to sleep, I noticed though whenever the video or play list runs out it always pushes a certain persons videos to me

That person is shaun Carroll, I have never knowingly clicked on one of his videos, I have no interest in him whatsoever. But there he is, time and time again waffling on in his horribly nasal American voice, I have come to despise him and all he stands for

You can choose "don't recommend this channel" to stop it. I usually do it from my recommended section, there's a drop down in the right corner. I absolutely love YT but I have to really search for content I enjoy. The rest is mindblowingly stupid and annoying. I use that feature to keep what I dislike off my screen. Another thing you can do is create a playlist and it will strictly play from that.

If you see them on your dash, tell youtube never to recommend the channel?
I dread to think how many annoying youtubers I've had to do this to over the last however many years I've used youtube, and a lot of them have been the hyperactive sounding American male youtubers like MrBeast and that ilk

I swear to god went for a wee and he was back, if a channel doesn't appear on your homepage is it possible to click the don't recommend?

Delete his videos from your watched history as well. You can curate the algorithm a bit by removing videos you don’t like.

If it hadn't been for the YouTube algorithm I would never have discovered Yoga with Kassandra, she absolutely saved me during lockdown 1.

I train it well, and exclude what I don't like, easy!
