AIBU to flounce from MN because of the Daily Mail turning threads into "news"

Last week i posted in AIBU about my dd wearing false lashes to school. Hardly groundbreaking, not especially controversial and certainly not news worthy. Just a mum, asking for opinions, on a parenting website.

Yet for some reason the "story" has appeared in the Mail. Along with a dozen of other stories lifted from MN over the past month.

I know that once anyone posts something anywhere online, its in the public domain and lazy journalists can delve in and blah blah blah. And my dd wearing false lashes to school is not exactly identifying as thousands of other parents of teenagers will be parenting exactly the same thing. But i did a quick search and lots of other threads from MN have been lifted where the situation is no where near that anonymous.
