Dd drinks sips, usually around 8-10 sips a day with food. Then formula of sound 21 ounces. Today she’s had no water at all, just kept pushing it away. Is this ok? Can’t see any advice online

Mine had sips of water when we were weaning / introducing food. Her main source of fluids was milk at that age. I wouldn’t worry.

As long as they drink 1-2 bottles of milk it's not an issue. But they need to be reminded often I think, we just leave bottles and cups in the living room and bedroom every day (incl one in his bed at night), and usually he remembers he is thirsty when he sees it.

21 oz is 600ml which is on the high side for that age. The recommended amount is around 400ml. They aren’t going to be thirsty on top for water after having that much formula.

Pretty much none.

Don't worry OP, milk is their main source of fluids at that age.

My 9 month old has 4x 7oz bottles per day and is offered a sippy cup of water or juice with meals which he usually has between 2-4oz each time.

Barely any

NeverDropYourMooncup · 19/09/2023 20:18

None. She couldn't stand the stuff. Still can't, but grudgingly has it when exercising.

Pinkdelight3 · 19/09/2023 20:20

Very little of any significance. If her nappies are wet, I wouldn't be worried.
