To be worried about baby?

Dd is 10 months. She’s had very runny, explosive poos which are light brown for the last two days. She doesn’t have a temperature and she is eating and drinking the same as normal, seems herself generally. The only change is that she’s been napping longer than normal, two hours ish rather than one. I’m worried as today she had four runny nappies like this. GP or is this ok?! First time mum. Thanks.

My son has runny nappies for 3 weeks and GP a said they were only concerned if it was 21 days in a row and was green and had other concerning symptoms eg not feeding/ high temp

Teething ? Mine always had awful nappies when teething

MrsMous · 19/09/2023 19:20

Talk to GP or health visitor if you are worried. There is no daft question when u r a mummy

As a second time mum if it were me I would leave longer to watch the situation but if it’s worrying you I would make GP appointment. I wouldn’t bother with 111

I'd suspect teething tbh, but can remember being worried about these things as a first time mum too.

Are you still under a health visitor?
