AIBU to be incredibly disappointed about one of the Russell Brand’s journalists?

I believe the women, but aibu to be incredibly disappointed to read that one of the two journalists, Charlotte Crace, who wrote the Sunday Times piece on Russell Brand, was responsible for the life-changing libel of an innocent woman? Story below. Feel it affects the credibility of the important ST article and it is hard to find people of integrity anywhere.

Journalists are after big money and they don't always tell the truth. It's always been like that and probably always will

Yes I knew about this journalist & because the victim has called her out the journalist has taken her name from the acknowledgement list.
I haven't drawn any judgement about the Russell Brand allegations because it's not been tried properly & actually there's a lot more wrong with this country than what's being reported about him
. I feel bad for anyone who is the victim of these journalists because they bay for blood. They don't care about what happened, or if he did or didn't do it or the outcome for these women who are accusing.
It's an ugly ugly part of our culture & nothing about how it's being handled is going to help anyone. Even if he did these awful things, it's not helpful to deal with it the way it is being. The worst thing is that because it's an unproven assumption that's probably how it will stay regardless of what's happened.

On the C4 documentary. The journalist in question took their name off the acknowledgement list for it because of the reasons you point out.
